Following the postponement of the 2017 AGM on Thursday 27th July 2017, it has become apparent that members are unclear on the current situation, the ongoing management of the affairs of the Club, and the Management Committee. This notice is intended to provide clarity on these matters to members. As members will be aware, the AGM was postponed following the reading of a prepared statement by the Club President, and a subsequent vote on the matter in which the majority of members present voted in favour of postponement. Until such time as the AGM is re-scheduled the existing Management Committee shall continue to deal with all matters relating to the Club not reserved to a General Meeting, including the day to day management of Club business with the support of Lisa and her team. These arrangements shall continue until such time as a new Committee is elected at the re-scheduled AGM. Members may also be aware that certain members of the Management Committee have stepped down from their positions, this will be addressed by the current Committee over the course of the next week, and any required changes notified to Members accordingly. The current Management Committee will be meeting over the course of the next week to discuss the current situation, and agree the way forward on each matter, including membership of the Management Committee through to the re-scheduled AGM. To ensure that Members are kept informed, a record of this meeting and decisions made will be published on this notice board within 1 week of the meeting being held.
