With bad weather on the horizon the Llantwit under 15s and 16s met in the changing rooms ready to face the formidable Barry squad. 

The first half was a struggle for Llantwit as attacks were thwarted by strong winds and a powerful defence from Barry. However, Llantwit fought hard to try and stop the fast and powerful attacks from Barry. The score at the end of the first half was 0-15

The second half found Llantwit with the upper hand with the wind behind them and the winter sun peering through the clouds. However, this would not be enough to topple the strong Barry defence. With a strong 26 minutes of end to end rugby and With only 4 minutes to go Llantwit made one final attempt on Barry's try line. With some strong running from the forwards Llantwit managed to bully there way over the Barry try line. To bring the game to a final score of 5-25.
