As rain pummeled the Llantwit pitches, the combined under 15s/16s prepped to keep their new found winning streak after a first win against Gilfach Goch. 

The match started with a gruesome attack and defence from both teams with good defensive pressure from the Llantwit side. However, strong running from Senghenydd  meant they were able to score two early tries. Brining the score to 12-0. 

Llantwit fought back hard with a grueling march up the pitch passing down the line  from Dylan M, to Daniel T and finally to winger Iestyn B with him sliding over the line to score. However the wind brought trouble for secound row Jack R who attempted the conversion. 12-5. The first half continued with strong runs from both sides, Where rucking proved to be the main battle ground for this match both teams fought hard and forced turn overs throughout the match.

The secound half began with a quick punt from llantwit which winger Daniel T used to dance over the line to score try. 12-10.  This brought on a brutal stalemate with both teams bouncing back and forth between their 22's. This stalemate was only broken when a skillful chip over the Llantwit defence by Senghenydd meant they were able to score again to bring the score to 17-10. The two teams continued to fight hard with storming runs and powerful tackles. Llantwit putting up a strong attach each time. Eventually working through the phases and a final push over the line before the whistle, Number 8 Ieuan H managed to force his way through the strong defence followed by a good kick from Jack R meant the scores were all square at 17-17.
