With summer coming to a close, a cold autumnal breeze passed over the Aberavon green stars pitches. 

The first half showed good teamwork from the Llantwit side, putting into practice some of the skills that have been done on the training pitch they managed to hold off strong attacks from the Green stars sizeable forwards. However, these attacks did manage to break through the Llantwit defence to score 3 tries. Llantwit fought back and center  Dylan M danced his way over the line to score Llantwit's first try. Which was converted, in tricky conditions, by second row Jack R. 

In the second half, Llantwit's strong defence continued to show with many strong runs pushing them close to Aberavons try line. However Aberavon continued to apply harsh pressure and fight back the Llantwit attacks. Yet, Llantwit managed to score three more tries by Ten Daniel T, Center Tomos D and with a lunge through a ruck hooker Ifan L. Placing themselves back into the fight. With the clock running out it was Llantwit's last attempt for a draw. Unfortunately, Llantwit would be kicking to Aberavon who, with the wind against them, used a kick to progress up the pitch and won a scrum on the 22. They then made a run up the blindside and scored ending the match and bringing the final score to 41 -22

All in all, a very good showing from both sides resulting in a close game with big hits and strong runs. Thanks to the Aberavon Green stars for a respectful game and for lending Llantwit a player.
