The day began with a coach trip for the Llantwit side hopping over the bridge to Bristol for an intense stand off against Kingswood RFC. With torrential rain forecast Llantwit we’re hoping for a break.

The match began with Kingswood kicking off on their waterlogged pitch. With the skies clearing and the rain holding off the already mud soaked Llantwit went on the attack with a successful catch from Dylan M. This meant Llantwit were able to begin a forceful charge up the field using the formidable forward pack. Quickly, the welsh Llantwit side broke through the English Kingswood defence and Dylan M went over the line to score. Obtaining Llantwit's first try and conversion which was made by secound row Jack R.  

More intense rugby followed with Kingswood pushing back and forcing Llantwit on the defence but the strong Llantwit side working their way through the phases, from the off set, pushing their way up the slippery pitch scoring two more hard earned tries. 

Scored by Dylan M, and Daniel T both converted by Jack R. 21-0. 

The secound half would see Llantwit start off strong again with Dylan M crossing the line for his 3rd try of the match. However, with conditions on the pitch worsening, Kingswood were set to make a late resurgence forcing Llantwit back into there 22' and after a fierce 20 minutes of non-stop end to end rugby Harry N managed to break through the strong Kingswood defence to score Llantwit's final try.  31-0. 

A big thanks to Kingswood RFC for hosting the match and to all the boys for showing a high level of respect and good sportsmanship. Looking forward to Kingswood coming to Llantwit in the next few months for a rematch.

Man of the match went to Rhys B for his hard work and strong running throughout the match.
