The Ball boys make a start at the rugby club

An exciting new relationship started at Llantwit Rugby club this week as father and son combo Rob and Samuel Ball bring their grounds maintenance expertise to the Recreation Ground. A familiar face to the rugby club Rob first started his playing for Llantwit Major back in the 1982 before graduating through the youth teams to the senior teams. Rob has continued his links with the club and this week sees him return with Sam in a professional capacity as their family run business 4 seasons Tree & Garden services take over the ground’s maintenance at the club.

Established in 2015 the business continues to grow but the boys were always keen to see new endeavours flower with sports pitch maintenance becoming their latest project. Whilst his father had an impact on the field, Samuel is hoping to show his skill set in providing a playing surface the current crop of players will be proud to play on. A Pencoed college graduate Samuel gained his Pencoed College over a 4-year period where he attained both City & Guilds and a Higher National Diploma in Horticulture.

Progressing over the years to cater for both commercial and domestic endeavours 4 Seasons Tree & Garden Services hope that their first foray into sports pitches will blossom into a successful branch of their operations. Throughout the season we will hopefully catch up with the 4 seasons team
